Good to know

Everything you might want to know before you visit, from parking to private events.

Where is Ember & Eagle?
Ember & Eagle is at 2000 Lowther Dr, Eatontown, NJ 07724, inside the historic Tillinghouse at Suneagles Golf Club in Eatontown, in the heart of Monmouth County.
Do I have to be a golf club member to dine?
No. Ember & Eagle is open to everyone: members and non-members of Suneagles Golf Club are equally welcome for dinner, drinks, and private events.
Can I still come for dinner on a night you have a wedding or private event?
Usually, yes. The restaurant is its own space, and the Tillinghouse also hosts weddings and private celebrations. On the occasional night the full property or the Parlor Bar is bought out, dining-room hours or seating can be limited. Check our Upcoming Closures page or call us and we'll let you know before you drive over.
What are your hours?
We serve dinner Tuesday through Thursday 5:00–9:00 PM, Friday 5:00–10:00 PM, and Saturday 4:00–10:00 PM. We're closed Sunday and Monday.
What kind of restaurant is Ember & Eagle?
An upscale Italian-inspired chophouse from the team behind Battello: crudo and raw bar, house-made pasta, Pat LaFrieda prime dry-aged steaks grilled over open flame, and an Italian-leaning cellar.
Do you take reservations?
Yes. Reserve through Resy up to four weeks out, or call us at (732) 443-3009. The bar is kept for walk-ins, so you can always come in for a drink and small plates.
Is there a dress code?
Ember & Eagle is a dress-for-the-evening kind of room: most guests arrive smart casual or better. If you'd like specifics for a particular night, call us at (732) 443-3009.
Is there parking?
Yes. There's on-site parking at Suneagles Golf Club.
Do you host private events and large parties?
Absolutely. It's one of the things we do best: semi-private dinners, full Parlor Bar buyouts, and full-property celebrations inside the Tillinghouse. Reach our events team at (732) 443-3008 or info@tillinghouse.com.
Is there live music?
Yes. Live local musicians play the Parlor Bar Thursday through Saturday evenings. See our Live Music page for the schedule.
Do you have a happy hour?
Yes: bar-side, Tuesday through Thursday, 5:00–6:30 PM, with drinks from $5 and a short list of small plates. Walk-ins welcome.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Ember & Eagle gift cards are available online and make an easy gift for any occasion.
